Jean Stansbury came to Gillette Children's to cover for a maternity leave almost 39 years ago. “I have grown so much as a person being here. I have learned so much from not only my colleagues but also our patients and their families,” she says.

Known for her fierce dedication to finding answers not giving up was instilled in her at birth. When her and her twin sister were born prematurely, many people didn’t think they would make it. “My mom never doubted it,” she states. That ambition has carried her through an incredible career here at Gillette. One that is far from over.
