They say a picture is worth a thousand words but for Gillette Children’s pediatric neurologist, Charbel El Kosseifi, MD, a picture is worth changing his life. A photo of Gillette patient, Ruth Evelyn (RE) Pranke, inspired El Kosseifi and he began working at Gillette in 2022.
“I saw a photo on the Gillette website of a young girl who did not have arms, but thanks to the care at Gillette, she was able to ride a bike. This spoke to me and was an example of the philosophy I have when working with patients. I want all of my patients to enjoy life. I want them to be happy.”
