“I always wanted to be in the healthcare field working with people, and when I was in college, I was a Personal Care Aide (PCA) for both a child with Downs Syndrome and a young woman with a spinal cord injury. I went to therapy services with them. I thought occupational therapy was fascinating because you can work with such a wide variety of people, all focusing to help improve their independence or quality of life."
